SECORA Pay Green introduces the eco-friendly Coil-on-Module (eCoM) package, enabling the production of fully recyclable contactless payment card bodies. By replacing the traditional copper wire antenna and reducing the number of material layers in the card, SECORA Pay Green simplifies recycling and significantly cuts down on raw material usage. In fact, this solution results in more than a 60% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to standard card systems.

At the end of a card’s lifecycle, the eCoM package can be removed and disposed of as electronic waste, while the card body, made from recyclable materials such as plastic, wood, or paper, can be fully recycled. This not only minimizes environmental impact but also meets the growing demand from consumers for eco-friendly payment solutions.
